Another day.

Hola!

Well its black friday today, and I dont really want to deal with the hordes of angry parents scavenging the local stores so I have decided to stay home for a while. I'm probably going to spend it editing photos and doing some free work for my portfolio.

Yesterday was thanksgiving and I spent it with my family. We ate around 7pm and we had a good time. Drinks were drank and jokes were told and passed around the table. I felt relaxed.

Around O-Town

Hey!

Went around the neighborhood and took some shots around town. Not a lot going on but I got a few nice shots.

This was a telephone pole. Not sure why it has so many nails and staples but I'd think it would look cool to look at it from an angle and really close up. I made the sky a bit grayer so as to keep the overall tone the same. It would of been to bright on the right side.

This one was fun to do. I took the image and mixed it with an photo of a dirty crumpled up sketchpad paper. I rolled my computer chair over it and got all sorts of dirt circles on it and crumpled it a tab to give it a worn out feel. I also gave the image a yellow/blue tinge and reduced the saturation so as to give it a more old look.

There is a church near by my house that I've been meaning to take photos of. It's really simple looking but still is really nice to look at. I basically enhanced the color to be more vivid while keeping detail in the building.

There are about 140 + more photos (many repeats) of the town, but none that I have gone back and edited with. I'm sure I'll post more later, but for now, you have these to work with ^_^

First Entry!

Hey there!

Just set up this blog to put down some thoughts that I get from time to time. It will range from talking about mundane day to day tasks to broader abstract notions; from talking about how I want to get Gears of War 2 to thinking about why I even exist. I will also post a lot of my photography work and give it a little discussion as to what I did to tune it up, or where I took the image, stuff like that. And since I'm in the Gaming business, I might throw down some game concepts, design work, and stories.

In the meantime you can check out my myspace page and see some of the photography I have done.

Thanks for reading!
